“I am originally from a third-world country and have witnessed firsthand the struggles that local artisans and laborers face in earning a sustainable income for their hard work. This experience has shaped my belief in the importance of fair trade, which ensures that the people who produce goods are compensated fairly and treated with dignity. That’s why I am excited to volunteer at an organization that not only allows people to purchase meaningful gifts for their loved ones but also creates fair job opportunities for individuals in underserved communities. By supporting this initiative, I hope to contribute to a system that empowers workers, promotes ethical business practices, and fosters long-term economic development in areas that need it most.”
